I thought it was pretty good. I think there is a hidden message behind the “virus” and it touches on how a woman’s life is going downhill. I think the “virus” is symbolic, I’d recommend watching it and drawing your own conclusions. 3/5 stars because the special effects were kind of cheesy but again I think it was cheesy on purpose. When you watch it don’t think of the “virus” think of the spiraling of the protagonist and how the people around here aren’t helping.

If you don’t understand this movie you either weren’t watching or you weren’t paying attention

I was having trouble on whether this should be a one star or two star review. I gave it two stars because I’m a little judgmental against this “analog” horror genre, it’s just not for me I guess because some people are eating it up. Analog horror and unique film techniques aside, the “plot” sucked and there weren’t many actually scary parts. You can film a movie differently and tell a story differently while also having the story be good but this story was boring. It had potential too so that’s disappointing. If there had actually been a beginning middle and ending to this movie I’d have enjoyed it more but it was just endless scenes of the walls and ceiling. There was no climax there was no character development, there’s nothing going on. This movie isn’t a slow burn because the flame is never lit.

Terrible. Waste of time. The plot barely makes sense.

If you go into watching this series with no expectations of the true story being told, it’s a good tale and keeps your attention because of all the drama. As for sticking to the true story, it did not. It had made up characters, interactions, etc. I enjoyed the dramatic, interesting story, even if strayed from the truth.

I was in a show hole so I decided to watch this on Hulu. Same director as “My Name Is Earl” so the comedy was similar, but not quite as good. I like the concept of this but they could have done a lot more with it. Most of the stories were reaching to create comedy, making it less realistic. Definitely has my na me is earl vibes though 3/5 stars because of the interesting concept. I’d give it 2/5 for the actual comedy.
