ACT in Perspective

Total missed opportunity to make this film interesting or relevant. The back story - how the civil war came to be - was missing. No explanation, no background on the President, no real context outside of, Texas and California decided to secede. What?! Without this context, it’s just a series of gun fights by opposing forces we had no idea about. Furthermore, why kill the President when he was defenseless? Why not capture and use him for information or negotiation or whatever? No, there were no prisoners of war in this film. People were just shot and killed indiscriminately. It was a sloppy, ill-conceived narrative. It wasn’t believable or compelling.
