I can't stand how she watches everyone around her die before she gets serious with fighting the monster. She says she won't let any of her friends or the people she cares about die, but they end up dead anyway. In episode 8 for example, she literally watched the monster walk up to her school and kill half of her class before she even reached for her sword. She also got one of the twins killed when the monster attacked the dojo because she picks up the sword and says " but your not blessed yet" like what are you talking about your friend is about to die. I dropped it, but I might pick it back up because people claim it gets better. I love gore and everything in anime, but it can't be just that.
