Now, I’m a relatively new Battlefield player, and all the other Battlefield games I played were fine, except for the occasional try hard using broken weapons. This is the latest Battlefield game I’ve gotten and before they nerfed the TTK, this was one of my favorite games. Sometimes I do still enjoy it, but they’ve destroyed this game, and now I’m weaning off of it. For one, time-to-kill. I’m not sure why DICE did it, but it’s one of the worst changes I’ve seen a game developer make, and it completely changed this game from decent, to horrible, before the change, TTK was quick and enjoyable. But after, it became very peculiar, and the majority of players despise it. However, DICE refuses to change it back to normal- one of the worst things a game company can do. Second off, some of the guns are way too overpowered. The Type 2A, StG-44, amongst several others are used by many due to their extreme power, yet no nerfs seem to be coming into play. Especially the new ones they’ve added in The War in the Pacific, like the Type 2A, Type 100, M3 Grease Gun, etc. Thirdly, most of the guns put into the game were either rarely used or prototypical. I also feel like the game has become a fashion show. They’ve added plenty of customizations, which usually either require money or grinding on special assignments. It takes away from “War is Hell” theme that most of the Battlefield games I’ve played put out, and instead emphasizes that being fashionable during a firefight is more important than being tactical. I’ve also seen plenty of cheaters, kidders, exploiters, etc. and all of them seem to be using X-rays, aim bots, and damage multipliers. It drives me crazy that they can’t implement a better anti cheat system, being such a large company. Along side these, there are so many glitches that it makes me want to pull my hair out. If DICE could fix these things in this game, it’d be a much better game. However, I don’t see these changes coming soon. Unless you can tolerate cheaters, overpowered weapons and horrible mechanics, I wouldn’t waste the money.
