I loved Kantara 2022 for its originality and unique concept, most important thing to remember low budget and high return on investment. Kantara Chapter - 1 Pros * Good visuals * Same Sequel songs in a prequel was good decision * Shown tribe in an appropriate way * Every tribe member is family, unity in tribe Cons * Where is the story? I don't want to compare previous movie, I got bored watching this prequel * Budget is high, but movie screenplay wasn't good * Sequel (Kantara 2022) cast were new for Pan India Movie, but their performance was good, as we got some cast from the sequel in this prequel, but they were wasted * Got no connection with the movie, no "GOOSEBUMPS" * Bad decision Kantara Chapter 2, creating franchise just to earn money..... Conclusion - After watching trailer I thought this prequel would break it's sequel records offcourse it will break, but not because of it's storyline or for its screenplay, it will break records as sequel has already earned lots of respect. Make movies with new concept, new story line and fresh screenplay. Money is important, but directors should learn one thing people come to theatre for entertainment purposes only, so directors should learn to make movies entertaining.
