Truly awful. His worst ever book. Irvine Welsh is my favourite author but he hasn’t written a decent book in years. Just boring, long winded chapters which seem totally pointless. Loads of contradictions with previous books. Begbie, the character everyone wants to see, doesn’t appear until roughly page 100 and after that he is absent for large parts of the book.
