Lisa truly outdid herself. She delivered just what I was hoping for. The amount of versatility on the album is amazing. I love the fact that for her first full length solo album she decided to go with songs from various genres and styles. Despite the variety that alter ego offers nothing seems out of place when you understand that this is Lisa trying out different styles and types of music. As a long time fan of Blackpink and Lisa this is the first time I am hearing her try some of these styles and let me just say she sounds amazing in every way possible. I hope everyone who listens to the album enjoys them selves because these are the type of songs that you listen to and just find yourself having fun. I feel like there is a song for everyone on this album regardless of what kind of music you typically listen to. For anyone who thinks that she’s just talking about money and how well-off she is, well, yeah, and? Isn’t that what 98% of rappers do? At least she can actually back that talk up with her talent, skills, lifestyle, and shining personality. If your an individual who loves songs about confidence, self love and appreciation, just living your life and having fun then this album and all of the songs on it are for you. And if you want something deeper or more “authentic” then maybe give tracks like Dream, Moonlit Floor, or New Woman. Regardless I standby my point that Lisa’s Alter Ego is and can be for everyone you just have to be willing to actually give it a try.
