My wife has been watching this show most of her life. In recent weeks as she (and occasionally I) have watched on Peacock, the background music or “droning” has become an intrusion that makes understanding the actors’ conversations very difficult. Ambient noise is becoming a challenge in restaurants and other venues. The added ambient sound on the “Days of Our Lives” has become a distraction requiring us to use closed captions just to follow the dialog! Please reduce or eliminate those sounds. They are not enhancing but distracting from a show that has stood the test to time in keeping an audience!
