‘Oru Thanuppan movie”: Like the name suggests, the movie felt cold, just like having a piece of stale bread kept in the fridge for a long time. Off late Kollywood is churning out movies after movies based on casteism and Mollywood has started its romance with Ghost and Paranormal activities as the core of many movies. To start with Prithviraj throughout the movie looks like an ICICI salesman trying to sell mutual funds. The film has two separate stories running paralally with one based on the existence of ghost and other on a crime investigation based on science. But surprisingly you don’t feel a connect with none of the characters in both the stories. Seldom movies are made which runs for above two hours now a days and this one runs for 2:20 minutes and you feel as if you have been watching this for around 5 hours. Movie would have been good if it was reduced into a 1:30 movie. There is a scene where Prithvi raj says the victims name is Eva Maria and the killer stole her identity and surprisingly the killer is a woman😂.( Never expected a man to steal a woman’s identity), to which the IPS officer responds with ‘Is it?’. This symbolizes the movie in a nut shell. I would rate the movie 1/5, because it bored me to the extent that it took me around 4 hours to watch the entire movie, there is no depth to the characters, the parallel track running with the ghost is entirely unnecessary and slow paced, there are too many characters in the movie which does not add any substance to the story line and are like the people who gate crash a wedding.(Unlike Drishyam the unconnected scenes which does not make sense in the first half does not make sense in the second half also) This is a movie you can watch if you are on a flight and have a long time to kill before you land.

I have never written a review for a movie before, may be I was waiting to watch the perfect movie to write one. But like they usually say,’Man proposes and God disposes’ and here I am writing a review for one of the worst movies I have ever seen. This movie is a perfect example of why you should not trust IMDB ratings. I saw that it was rated 8 and took the risk of watching this flick and trust me, now am not sure if they rated 8 out of 10 or 100. Man in his lowest times take strange decisions but trust me even in your lowest point, please don’t watch this movie. You are gonna waste 2 hours of your life which you never are gonna get back. With all due respect to the crew, I just could not put my finger on what is worse? Acting ? Direction ? Screenplay ? Dialogue? Songs ? or my decision to watch this movie. I rest my case🙏 Note: The guys who rated it four and above all mentions a common point,’Heroins’. Even after the entire movie you will not be able to distinguish between the 4 female characters because throughout the movie less of their face is shown and more of their bodies. Wanna be’s think it’s a cool movie because of the excessive use of English in Telugu accent, scenes of people taking drugs, use of the explicit-eves like F&$@, Women in micro minis partying etc.
