A strange series. Episode 1 was brilliant. Really engaging and I began to invest. Downhill from there. Lots of drama, but without any investment in the characters or plot. Clumsy. Lazy in fact. It feels as though someone has tried to copy Line of Duty format, without the build up or dialogue. For instance, Wash (or is it Bosh? It changes depending which character is pronouncing it), her brother gets graphically blown up - but we hardly know who he is. A wasted event. The writing isn’t good at all. Great idea for a drama, Poorly executed and a wasted opportunity. Vicky Mclure is amazing as always. Only reason I’m sticking with it - she’s so fab to watch!
