I loved loved loved this rendition of The Fabulous Color Purple!!!! It definitely was a tear jerker for me. Considering how they had to condense this movie for time vs the original I believe that they hit on the majority of the most iconic scenes. Star studded cast, excellent singing and dancing. The only thing I missed was narration and the iconic lines from the original like, You show is ugly, it's gone rain on yo head, me and you must never part, mama boni somma nini momma and singing God's trying to tell you something. Overall a 9/10 for me
