2 hrs 18 mins of pure indulgence.
Not mine, but scriptwriters.
Visually, it's stunning, but truly I haven't a clue what it was about, and neither had people sitting beside me.
Absolute nonsense.

It's wonderfully evocative.
I now live in very gentile York, but I grew up in East end Glasgow.
As I read the book, I was constantly taken back to my " home "
The slang words are more descriptive than anything in the English language.
But it's also very sad, I knew many Shuggie Bains, who never escaped the poverty and lack of opportunity
