Joker: Folie à Deux feels like a forced sequel, trying to capture the lightning-in-a-bottle success of the first film without offering anything truly fresh. Despite strong performances, particularly from Phoenix and Lady Gaga, the film struggles with pacing, often dragging between moments of tension.
