This movie didn’t make any sense. The gratuitous violence is endless and dull. There is no real plot just a series of poorly structured vignettes of insipid and shallow work. I enjoyed the first movie if for no other reason than the interesting supporting cast. This version had a wandering helicopter dad that seemed confused by his purpose and paternal instincts. Kristen Wigg was the only enjoyable part but the writers failed to develop her character to any meaningful purpose for being in the movie. Overall, this movie is a solid D- leaning more toward the F. It’s definitely a pass.
