I just spent 2 minutes trying to make sure that you can't click only half a star.
What a horrible piece of garbage. I've seen bum fights that deserve a higher rating for storyline and plot. The only way Gladiator 2 has a better rating would be for lighting and audio.
Aren't film makers supposed to show and not tell. It felt like each character was deep on the ism-end of the spectrum just saying things to each other about what they should have been showing.
I wanted to fight the guy at the front desk for my money back, but I couldn't cause WE BOUGHT OUR TICKETS FROM A SCREEN...there wasn't even anyone there, welcome to the future where humans don't work anymore.
This movie was a let down and I eventually pissed off my girlfriend cause I was talking too much shit during the show. I was incredibly jealous of a couple who I saw get up and leave just over half-way through.
I tried to get my companion to do the same but we needed to "get our money's worth". I would have literally paid more money just to fast-forward to the credits.
This movie couldn't even come up with it's own lines, the characters were literally saying shit that had been said in the first movie. And not like regular sayings or something...specific lines that could only be used in the original situations.
Sometimes they didn't even make sense. Like when the server says enjoy your dinner and you reply "you too!". Sure it CAN be relevant....but it's not.
I only wish there had been one of the producers or a director or someone there to fight out of aner.
Speaking of fighting, some of the fight scenes were the ONLY good thing about this movie. Pretty realistic in most cases and NOT unnecessarily long and drawn out fake kung-fu slug fests. Thank God for those.
I'd love to give this less than one star, but you can't.
As a recovering alcoholic this movie made me want to drink.
Thanks for nothing Scarpa. You can take a screenwriting class online for free at coursera.com. I reccommend it.
DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!
