*minor spolers* The only reason why I gave it an extra star is because the fragmented hammer trick looks super cool. Honestly, it just feels like a 2 hour SNL parody of the actual movie. Everyone's a comedian. Literally nothing but unfunny jokes the entire - ENTIRE - time. The humor is forced and out of place, over the top and annoying. The only one who did not indulge in this nonsense was the villain, which Christian Bale did a really good job with. His scenes were the only ones that gave me the "real Thor movie" vibe. I know that the corny jokes were scripted and not the actors' fault, it was just such a let down. Me, a ride or die Marvel movie fan, leaving a review like this on a Thor movie??! I never thought I'd see the day. Honestly, they could have taken the money they spent on this travesty and used it on a Tron sequel.
