Could have been Die Hard, ended up Dead on Arrival. Contrived plot so full of holes you could drive a 747 through them.
Bateman is a good enough actor to maintain a decent baddie - although he mainly does so by not saying much. Egerton is trying his best with the material but the plot is so contrived - hinging entirely on him putting a headphone in his ear - that it beggars belief.
Terrible bag switch plot point? Check. Insanely unrealistic use of an "airtight" cupboard? Oh yes. Hopelessly over-engineered assassination plot that is wildly disproportionate to the target? You betcha. It's a shame, but this ends up being drivel.
