I thought to myself while playing this game: "this is the dream come true of all gamers since the beginning of gaming." The reason is because all gamers have had a single dream since they began gaming as children...to be able to go beyond the invisible wall...kids, hanging out around a nintendo or playstation and saying "man if only you could keep going...". For this reason alone, No man's Sky is an actual dream come true for those kids now grown...sure...it might just be a cosmic treadmill if you think too hard about it...but at the end of the day, isn't everything? This game is so immersive and requires a good fair bit of attention and devotion to justify playing...several years ago I realized I needed to put it away until I had the time to really play it and do it justice. I've decided that life is too short to wait and am currently on, out in the worlds making deals, discovering lost artifacts, taking down pirates, and building my space fleet...AAA fun FOREVER.
