Dire. I kept going, like you do, but it was hard work. Really unlikeable characters, mediocre actors, hopeless storyline. Apart from that, marvellous.

The female lead character is dreadful. She is selfish, thoroughly unpleasant and completely unreasonable. Alun Armstrong is marvellous and Daniel Ryan is fine. The rest of the cast, particularly 'Jen' defy description.
