I do not recommend this book for those who wanted to understand Christianity. Martin Luther's Large Catechism was published in 1529. The Catechism of the Council of Trent (Roman Catechism) was on 1566. Luther's Catechism is clearer and more terse and vivid than the dull Roman Catechism authored by Roman Catholics. Calvin also has his Institutes of the Christian Religion. Both Luther and Calvin expounds on the Christian religion better than any Roman Catholic writers. But as a Christian, I only recommend the fundamental teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist church because it's Biblically sound. Luther blurred the Sabbath Commandment like the Roman Catechism and Melanchthon's Augsburg Confession. But the Seventh-day Adventist theology is more biblical and logically Christian compared to any Christian groups. Ellen G. White's classic book, "Steps to Christ," translated into over 200 languages is better than any book on introduction to Christianity concerning salvation because its simply and yet theologically profound compared to the rancid works of Augustine and Aquinas on theology.
