If you’ve read the book then you might be a bit disappointed. The movie seemed to leave out what I felt was important parts to the story. Micheal doesn’t call Angel by any of the names he chose for her in the book. It completely missed the second part of when she left and stayed with Joseph and his wife. The dialogue that Michael and Angel had with God was also left out. The part where Angel is rescued from Duke and living with the family that helped her build her “group home” is just completely skipped as well. It’s still a great movie and great acting, I just wish there weren’t parts skipped.
