Kandahar was a really good movie. CIA agent cover gets exposed by the media while he is on a covert operation and he and his interpreter have to try to make it to Kandahar. It is not a big action packed movie like some of Gerard Butler's past movies but it had some really good action scenes. This was a more true to real life action movie.
I thought the story line was great and meaningful. It had its true, heartfelt moments in it. To me it was a more plausible, realistic story. I thought the story line was easy to follow. My wife watched it with me and she loved it. In my opinion, the only thing that was missing was more detailed back story on the interpreter. The story line does give you some back ground information on him.
I will definitely buy this movie when it comes out on DVD/digital.
I read some of the critics reviews and they didn't like it or didn't give it a high rating. I read the reviews from other people who had seen the movie. Their reviews were postive and they gave it a high rating.

It suprised me because the movie trailer I saw for it didn't do it justice. It didn't appear to be very well advertised either.
