This is not just a bad Star Wars movie, it is a terrible movie. Everything that made the first 2 movies good is gone in this film. This movie is essentially a 2 hour toy commercial. Once George Lucas found out that he could make more money off of merchandise, he switched the storyline in that direction. Plot inconsistencies don't matter, as long as more toys can be sold. The actors seem tired, they are pretty much going through the motions. The production gets lazy with locations and effects. It's all about the almighty dollar. If you liked this movie as a kid, take another look at it. It is painfully unwatchable.
