I believe most people will find this a good movie. But this film story is so intense, there is no way to tell it in such a short time and get heavily involved. The end should wrench your heart. I barely felt it. Short interaction of their start and none of her climb. No depth of his dispair he is going thru. I disagree that Cooper is not great in this movie, it just did not develop his character. We get a slight understanding of his charisma but none of his pain. The scenes where he is angry and calling her names and belittling her talent make no sense since the characters were not shared in depth. Could have been a phenomenal saga if it had been another hour longer. At 1.5 hours, only an action movie with very little story can be done. Certainly not a movie that is to evoke your soul. Lady Gaga was OK. It would have been great to see how she handled the real relationship of the climb and fall.
