Wow. Just wow. So so so so so so so bad for what it could have been and seems like should have been. 7 hours of my life wasted to get no real resolution. This series had so much potential but just blows it with the plot holes and hopes that by jumping around it will make you think it’s somehow clever or shocking. It’s not. What a waste of a good cast too. The actors do a good job but this story is pure garbage. Spoilers below but really not spoiling much… You mean to tell me that the lady who is smart enough to recruit Russian assets was then also OK just leaving the country she cared about. Her thoughts are “I’ll dedicate my entire life to helping my country and freeing my country. Welp for the sake of this plot let me just leave my country”. The amount of time wasted on this show and in this show is truly something special even for Hollywood. I was frustrated by episode 4 or 5 but continued because I was almost done. I wish I had turned it off after the first 11 minutes of episode 1. Shame on them for butting this garbage out and trying to put enough lipstick on this pig to call it interesting. Save your time and turn it off. The daughter goes her entire life keeping the secret and then blows it as soon as John Lithgow’s character brings up her mom? Watching it I said “oh he knows now” and yup sure enough. Jeff Bridges can take out specially trained agents with little problem when it’s just him. Introduce Amy and have him 1 on 1 with someone when he knows they are coming and he can’t do it alone now? This show just requires you to go along with every stupid turn and twist they put in it in an effort to pump it up to 7 episodes. This story could have been so much better told and actually interesting with a minimal amount of reading the writing that was done for the script and then making it somewhere between 3 and 4 hours instead of 7. F them. So upset. Such a bad show.
