The film sucked! Very predictable, with Naomi Scott trying hard to be convincing, but failing with incescent tantrums & foul language. The story was not an improvement from the last one, following the same sort of story. This is a shame, as the sequel is supposed to be better! Yes this had to carry some of the original, as the thing that's always grinning, has the same m.o, but I at least expected there to be a half decent attempt to stop it, rather than the old 'injection to kill her just long enough to kill the evil, then bring her back' technique. It's been used before!!. The only shock was the ending, but kinda not, as it looked like it was trying to do what the ring did, to tying to reach & infect everyone. It didn't even aspire to be anticlimactic, it was just.a bit boring, &.mostly predictable, so it sucked!

I was never a fan of falcon becoming the new captain America, (Anthony Mackie is no Chris Evans.) This film emphasized to me why. The fights were overdone, unrealistic and the story was boring. As a long time marvel fan, I was shocked that Samuel Sterns aka 'The Leader', was nothing like his comic book counter part. The Red Hulk's origin had been completely changed, as originally it was Modok & The Leader that used gamma energies syphoned from the Hulk, to create the Red Hulk, but Anan Quantum -main wrecked that idea, when they created a ridiculous version of Modok, & then killed him! This film really lacked substance, & just outlined how far the marvel franchise has fallen since the avengers movies. Yes, there have been a couple of decent ones here & there, but it looks as though most of their winners were developed when they had chained the stories. These days, getting a good, un woke, accurate story, with tru to origin characters (cannon,) is just hard to come by. What we saw in our childhoods, is probably safer there, as once the woke virus has it, you can bet these beloved films will be ruined! I can confidently say, I'm not looking forward to another captain America film.
