The whole show rests on Viola Davis's magnificent performance and a basic premise that there is no essential difference between a criminal and a lawyer. And a lot of sex scenes. If this is your cup of tea, you'll like it. But it's not mine: too many inflated twists and turns that seem over the top, too many plot holes, and no likable (or essentially "good") characters. Personally, I don't enjoy the shows without a moral compass. But as a fan of Viola Davis, I made it through seasons 1 and 2.
