I saw multiple reviews saying, "Too much backstory" or "Slow paced" but if you want to watch any movie, be prepared to see backstories or character development. Any good movie has backstories and all to build up the plot and if you've got a problem with that, don't watch it. These backstories are essential for building the plot and improving the overall experience and engagement. You can't expect everything to just me full of fighting and blood. If that's the kind of shows you like, then I'm sorry, demon slayer isn't for you.
I watched this movie in 4dx 2 times, and it was worth all the money. It was so engaging, and the audience was cheering on and hyping up the character when they made an entrance onscreen. At both times, we applauded at the end of the movie. I could see everyone leaving the theaters with a smile on their face.
In short, this movie can only be described as amazing, with jaw dropping visuals and immersive storylines and tear-jerking moments. This is an absolute 5 stars and I'm definitely watching the next 2 movies.
