The Grand Tour is better than New Top Gear ((from seasons 23-26....)Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc, Sabine Schmitz, Eddie Jordan, Rory Reid, Paddy McGuinness, Andrew Flintoff) but worse than Old Top Gear (seasons 2-21, 22 was mixture of discarded films during Clarkson's firing). In effect, seasons 20-22 of the old Top Gear had started to become nothing more than actual car reviews and a amalgam of stale jokes and gags, like the Dacia Sandero gag, which was only funny after one season. The Grand Tour is visually more stunning than Old Top Gear, and slightly better than New Top Gear, with picturesque locations, 4K UHD HDR resolution, and all the moles of the presenters' faces. However- the Grand Tour is just a refreshed version of Top Gear, in effect, which makes it the same stale jokes and gags, with, admittedly, some newer ones, but also some very offensive gags, such as ice cream is gay and others. Still, the combination of CLARKSON!!, HAMMOND!!, and MAY!! cannot be beaten by any other motoring shows, such as Motor Trend Network (nee Velocity), MotorWeek, and Fifth Gear (aka Super Old Top Gear).
