All I can say is that Colin Simpkins is a clown that wouldn’t understand a good film if it slapped him in the face. This movie exceeded all my expectations and blew the original away. Tom Cruise proved here that good films CAN still be made, and they can be made without woke messaging or shallow characters / bad writing. This film is an absolute masterpiece and one of Tom’s best. Other Hollywood directors and writers should take note. For once, a rarity, I feel proud to be an American - thanks to the achievements of this film.

Based on the first episode, “Meh” is the proper response to this, even if the premise wasn’t so completely unbelievable, but I’ll watch the rest and see if it improves. Here’s a question for all those here who think this show is amazing: if everyone is blind, why the hell is berthing about their culture based on visuals? Why the clothing fashion, the hairstyles, the huts, everything? The flaming decorative rooms, the queens crown… it goes on and on. These things make the premise even more unbelievable.
