Absorbing, the reader travels with three adolescences on a different journey than any the browser has experienced and in this world finds a mix of youth, rivalry, hope and loss peppered with a few jokes. Unforgettable.

I’m sorry but I found the whole book, its writing style and plot, banal. It might make the basis for a low budget TV drama. Was that its goal?

I’m sorry that I gave up on page 177. I rarely give up on any book as I trust the author to make a read worthwhile. In this case it is so contrived, with too many unbelievable characters, that my stamina was not enough to see me any further. This may be my fault.
