Personally I thought Emma's acting was fine & the baby crying was the least of the issues in this movie. It just seemed to have alot of plotholes & unexplained things that happened that left you underwhelmed. The "haunting" part of the plot was underdeveloped & the climax/ending was confusing. The worse part of the movie was for some reason Emma's character wore the same outfit everyday!! She couldn't take 2 minutes to change her freaking clothes?? That bothered me more than anything.

I hate when people say don't even waste your time just because they don't like a movie. It's different & if you want a layered horror film you should consider it. I didn't fully understand the story but I was interested from beginning to end.

I went into this film with kind of low expectations but also with an open mind. I try not to be too influenced by others opinions. I actually was surprised by how much better it was than I thought it would be. I didn't really personally have many issues with the movie. Was it perfect? No but overall I enjoyed it. My only real issue was with them bringing back the nostalgia character from the original. I felt that was unnecessary and forced. *SPOILERS* Her getting her eyes gouged was kind of cool other than that she really served no purpose.

Solid film plot & story wise but the effects are very low budget looking. Kind of ruined it. Especially the demon possessed boy. That aspect could've been executed better. He was not very scary to me. Overall solid story but some of the ideas could've been executed better.
