I thought it was good. The flashbacks to the first movie were excessive and took away from the immersion for me. Any fan of the original has seen it 100 times by now and didnt need that. You kind of lose alot of the nostalgic feelings when they hold your hand through every other scene and dont allow you to make connections on your own.
