The first half of the film was impressive and genuinely frightening, capturing the essence of how a horror movie should feel. Unfortunately, the momentum was lost in the second half, where the quality noticeably declined. The casting could have been stronger, and the role of the Annabelle doll felt unnecessary and out of place. The ending was especially disappointing, as the resolution with the hand on the mirror and the demon disappearing felt rushed and unconvincing. Given the strong buildup in the beginning, I expected a much more impactful conclusion.
