I was 22 years-old, and had been back in the States a few months, and also had just met my wife to be when 'Tapestry' was released in 1971. I had knew about Carole King, (writing songs for the Monkees, etc, and when I first heard this album on the radio I was blown away! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! I'm a lover of ALL music, and 'Tapestry' is one of my all-time favorite albums. To say Ms. King 'hit it out of the park' with this album would be like saying that Hank Aaron was a home run hitter. 755 and 'Tapestry' are so much more.
