Very important edition for the Pharaohs like gamer, it is very different in layout compared with the 'Children of the Nile' version by Tilted Mills which had some quarks in that game play as a sequel after Pharaohs of the 1990's. Reason is that Children of Nile had a different direct x setup though advanced for its time with other kind of real world look compared to more plain sims ortho board. Where in 'Children of Nile' had added the zoom in and zoom out uses to look at the world at level ground interplay. This game of Builders of Egypt I applaud that it has the part zoom in and zoom out approach but looks more like a advanced ortho board field closer to Pharaohs original game part perspective. Hopefully the game play will be close to the original design of Sierra's own milestone idea and all the realism and expanded environment look along with all the add ons you could dream of. Bare in mind another group is now making an expanded game of same set design based on original Pharaoh's ortho board since they bought the rights of the Sierra game engine parts itself that is a presently game still under construction to have the new enhanced added on version to the same Sierra game outlines and make up.
The advantage of the original add ons is you do not need the high end direct x11 and their game can be used on a older or more modest operating systems prior windows 10. Hope this helps outline the differences for ones computer choices and types of specs designed for use of such games.
