I saw the movie years ago and lived it. I thought that it was sad and sweet, and I always enjoy getting a look into other cultures . I could really see how something like this could happen. Same old story of boy meets girl, but they're from completely different cultures so of course the parents don't approve. It's been decades since I first saw it and while I still root for the young couple, I understand where the parents are coming from and the value of tradition.
