The book "Shatter me" is an overhyped book with a boring plot. I tried pushing myself to finish this book but I just couldn't. I decided to give up reading this book 80% through after realizing it was going nowhere. The main girl (Juliette) doesn't have many scenes with the main guy (Aaron Warner) whom I was rooting for before even reading the book. She was with this random Adam Kent guy instead. What was the purpose of the first book, honestly? I expected to binge a romance book but instead read a unnesssary plot twist book. Waste of time. As for the dystopia part of this book, it lacks creativity and is about basic communist ideals ruining society. Do not recommend for readers looking for enjoyable entertainment.
