I love all of Malcolm Gladwell’s books and most of his podcast episodes. I think this book demonstrated his proven ability for story telling and engaging narratives, however I feel that this particular book failed to really mold together over time without forcing these separate stories and events with word glue rather than it being intuitive for the reader. He also seemed to fall into his classic patterns of over simplification of complex situations and generalizations.
I likely won’t re-read this one like I have some of his others, but it’s worth a single read merely to get another chance to admire his remarkable gift for story telling.
