This show is just trash with lazy and phoned in writing. I think there is enough points made here to make this thought valid. I'm not even going to compare the two shows because that would be trying to compare apples and oranges. I know comedy is subjective, and I'd be willing to be more accepting, but the fans of the show make that hard. The biggest take away from this show is that people who watch it are too dumb for higher level of humor or they been smoking something that delude them. No matter the reason why someone would enjoy it, the fact is they are a toxic fan. It's not good enough for themselves to like it, but if someone doesn't like it, they want to act all smug and spout things that to discredit them. So if you are a fan of the show, good for you, I'm sure some fans just want to enjoy the show, but if you're a fan and just want to complain that someone didn't like your show, grow up. Not everyone needs to like the same thing.

The movie overall was okay, there was some really fun moments and I think the characters are pretty unique. However the story was eh, well maybe. My opinion on the story can change, because if you are not aware, even though trailers said this already, this is part 1 of 2. So any issues I have can be altered depending on part 2. Now this film alone, it's story has potential but it is filled with so many plot holes and Miles is protected with so much plot armor that the story relies to heavily making Miguel look bad, as well as all the other Spiders. Into the Spider-Verse was much better overall and without giving spoilers its hard to go into.
