loved it. I have not read Persuasion by JA but am now putting it on my future reading list. I can’t comment on the adaptation of the book. I think this movie , having more modern commentaries on how people lived, loved , and managed their families made it relatable to today. Some of the characters were a little over the top but that also fitted the narrative. Give the film a go, you might just like it.j
