(NO SPOILERS) I'll try to keep this review as short as possible because I could talk about this game all day Replayed in 2024 on ps5 4k oled tv Graphics still hold up amazingly especially on the new consoles and TV'S Everything feels fluid and smooth I had no issues with camera movement which surprised me for a game over a decade old Some jankyness with aiming and driving but it's really nothing you can't get used too and doesn't ruin immersion vehicles weapons explosions sound and look great combat mechanics you can really get creative with there are so many ways u can kill or trap enemy's enemy ai leaps bounds compared to its previous entry far cry 2(my opinion) One again ai is just incredible for an open world game made 12 years ago I find them smarter than the new ai enemies in the new spiderman games or ghost of Tsushima Far cry 3 has some of the best missions u will ever play in a video game! Story line is edgy dark and intelligent the pacing is great rarely do i feel it falls flat (my opinion) Characters are amazing would love to have seen more characters arcs and more involvement from a couple of them but it is what is your character arc and the main bosses make up for any lacking personalities Vass and hoyte leave me speechless probably some of the best dialogue I've ever gotten from video game villains in my whole life (my opinion) Purchased far cry 3 for $10 at a local eb games (gamestop) and the amount of hours of fun u can get is easily the best deal Gave 4/5 stars my opinion only thing worth having a whinge at is there is no new game plus but all said If you don't experience far cry 3 your only doing yourself an injustice
