World's Oldest Alphabet book is a very useful reference, even though the hypotheses have been controversial. The hard-cover is a high quality color production, with crisp print which is a pleasure to read. It has very useful, clear charts, maps, diagrams, and photos illustrating the glyphs of Proto-Sinaitic inscriptions, which scholars are working to decipher. Dr. Petrovich has presented his research and hypotheses in a clear and systematic format with background, decipherment, orthography, historical value, chronology, and extensive bibliography. It has a treasured spot in my library.
