It's actually very accurate and true to the original languages, unlike what some people wrongly attribute to it out of ignorance. Such as the reviewer who gave it 1 star because it said something different from "most other Bibles" and didn't spend 5 minutes to recognize that the GW translation is actually using the accurate translation of the Hebrew text in 2 Chronicles 22:2 unlike the majority of translations.)
It's a very good reading Bible that is accurate and literal, while still using modern English phrasing. It's better on many levels than the NLT. It's only "issue" was that it doesn't have a major publishing company behind it so you don't see it as often. Which is unfortunate. It was one of Billy Graham's favorite translations.
