Maria Garrity

I believe the main character who played Wonka was terrific. He was very endearing and he drew you into the movie. I also liked the little orphan girl, Noodle. Together they were fantastic in the movie. What I didn't like is why did they have to bring the Catholic church into it in a negative way? There could have been many other ways that they could have brought about the three chocolate villains together, but you have to bring in the confessional and the dishonest and corrupt priest into the movie. That part definitely turn me right off and was unnecessary and offensive.
