**Partial spoiler alert** I don't see movies in theaters much, my last being Jurassic World Dominion, which I was pretty disappointed with, but Halloween Ends wasn't as bad as that movie was. Halloween Ends definitely sets up a plot that had potential, but that setup wasn't followed through into anything really that good. If Michael Myers possessed more than just corey, more like half the town of haddonfield, making killers out of them--now that would be pretty interesting to have seen. That's literally what I figured was going to happen. But nope it was unfulfilled, the whole having-an-accomplice thing didn't really pan out to anything meaningful. But even that could have been something if they had actually drawn it out more. They kind of did that in Resurrection when Michael let Busta rhymes live because Michael figured that because he was wearing the same costume that he could use that as an advantage in sneaking up on the rest of the gang. What is it with rushing films today, stop being so deathly scared of making a 3-hour movie, better to have tried to make a movie better by making it 3 hours then to have kept it just under two and then be left to wonder what if, in my perspective. and regardless of whether they made killers out of majority of the town or just stuck to the accomplice thing, there still additionally needed to be in there the concept of Laurie Strode building up her final showdown with Michael, as the trailer made clear would be, but then it wasn't even in the movie. literally I waited for that line where she said "maybe he can only die if I die too" but they literally cut out a line from the final cut that was in the trailer, and an important one at that because it actually creates a certain concept that makes you think, what kind of supernatural connection is there between Laurie strode and Michael's abilities, but no they decided that wasn't important right? Boy oh boy these times we are living in, I don't know what goes through people's heads but anyway, I'm interested to hear your guys' thoughts too. things this movie did well though, those things include Laurie Strode's talks about evil throughout the movie, also having the final word of the movie be the word "shape." pay tribute to the original and also makes you think that maybe there will be something else in the future. also the tribute to the first movie where she sees Michael standing across the street while in her high School class, when she sees Corey standing outside her house. the opening scene was good too, and the whole Michael being more hidden this time in the sewer being a little more calculated, that was an interesting new thing to see. Michael was always more on the calculated side I think, but more so in this movie than the others throughout the years. by the way I haven't seen one post yet of someone actually realizing that Michael allowed Corey to get the mask from him in the sewer, he wanted Corey to stay alive because he wanted to use Corey. I'm really surprised to have not seen anyone else yet who has figured this out lol. anyway yes so I just thought I would say the things that I thought were done well too. I'm interested in hearing your guys' thoughts too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two Jurassic worlds, the plots made sense for both of them, and I did enjoy this movie too, I did enjoy the meshing together of many scenes, but, (and this could change over time but for now this is my honest perception) I felt some things could have been done differently. I do feel some parts were rushed while some parts weren't rushed. it seems like there was a desperate desire to keep it just under two and a half hours, where it really should have been the 3 hours that most of us hoped it would be. I'm no movie plot expert by any stretch of the imagination but this is my take on it: Certainly if they actually went with the plot that the first two Jurassic Worlds led us to believe would be the plot (the weaponizing of dinosaurs for war), then not only would we have gotten the whole 3 hours, but it would have opened pathways to include more in the movie, especially the spinosaurus that we all really should have seen. I'm really not sure why the creators felt like they could not have two antagonists, Justice League Dark Apokolips War did this and nailed it, it was insane when Trigon came out and we then had to figure out what was going to happen now that two independent supervillains were in the mix. The locusts could have played some part of the mix, but The Giga and Spino would have been Biosyn's "Big Guns" They could have brought in one of the other rexes from site B, they could have teamed up against the Spino and Giga, or each of those rexes could fight one of the antagonists each in different areas, or the Spino could have been brought in last minute as a last resort after the Giga would fall to the rex, and then the other rex would come in and help, something, there were ways to make it happen. The fact that we got that cheap Spinoraptor appearance in the underground cave was not only proof that they could have fit it in somehow, but, further, it was almost like a big tease to the fans, a "haha you're not getting what you want." Call me overly bitter for saying that, but man would it be so bad to have left us with the impression that in some cases the spinosaurus could win and in some other cases the T-Rex could win, even paleontologists will say things like that when they predict which apex carnivores would win over the other. So it can be said that this movie was put together well in its own way in its own direction that was decided upon to move with, but overall I thought Jurassic world 1 and 2 were better, especially the endings. In Dominion, the character stuff was done fairly well, the dino stuff was done pretty well too, it was just the plot and the missing additions... just wanted to get my input out there, I'm interested to hear any similar or different opinions.
