The concept was pretty good but the execution is dire. 80% of the movie is basically a set-up for Shyamalan’s daughter. It’s like it was directed by a 14 year old. I gave an extra star because the actress playing the daughter did a great job and Josh Hartnett was ok 50% of the time. How Hayley Mills came to be cast in this is difficult to comprehend. Ridiculous.
