I was really liking the buildup but after their kiss, that btw I couldn't even tell was real or not, the plot plummetted into a grand mess of cringy monologue and writing and the romance came to an early, tragic and inexplicable end. Also, the protagonist became very unlikable. I can see how a girl her age could be naive and cheesy enough to give her teacher fanfiction of them but trying to pass it off as your midterm assignment and being pissed when he won't accept that? Ridiculous. It's sad because the actors were all good and the premise was interesting because everyone's had a crush on an older teacher at some point but the plot was as weird as they get

One of the few movies that actually scared me. It was also interesting throughout.

I loved the satirical moments and I appreciated the suspense in the first half of the film. The reveal of the main antagonist weirded me out a little, it certainly wasn't where I was expecting the movie to go. I also think they should have expanded a little more on the storyline of Frank and his daughter because it was interesting but we only got vague descriptions and hints about it. The actung was good, except some scenes with AJ. I think with better acting the scene at the club of him confessing to his friend and the scene where he decided to throw Tess would have stood out a lot more if the actor focused on them more and gave a better interpretation. If you like horror I suggest you watch this, it's enjoyable, but it's not like it will blow your mind or anything
