None of the characters were allowed to develop beyond some token steps. The story itself is also not overly interesting. One would question, "what's the point in making this film?". The storyteller could have explored whether the bad is really bad and the good is really good but that'd be too smart wouldn't it? If folks want to make a movie for a couple of hours of brainless, gory, bloody see-and-forget entertainment then so be it. I find it disappointing given such a good cast and fine acting.
