Powerful and beyond all else frightening. Anyone who found this boring hasn't read much history or read many well-written books. It's not supposed to be an action movie. The world it depicts is one that you should be grateful everyday you weren't born into. To think there are people living in a society where they must be frightened of their own families, of their children--where every spoken word may have consequences. The constant, never-ending looking over your shoulder. You have no idea of the freedom we have until you read something like this. A lot of people would do well to read this book to appreciate what they have.
